I have several old sandbox accounts that are not in use and I want to remove them. When I try, I get an error saying the account is tied to an app or it failed to close. The accounts are not tied to any apps listed and I don't have any of the old passwords so I can't get into them.
Can someone please tell me how I can remove them?

Hello @csmmaster,
Thank you for posting to the Sandbox Community. If you are certain that the sandbox accounts are not currently being used as your default Facilitator account, we can close them for you. If you provide the merchant id for both sandbox accounts, we will close the accounts, which removes them from your dashboard.
This is how you can get the merchant ids:
- Log into the developer dashboard at https://developer.paypal.com
- Click on Sandbox Accounts
- Click the three dots next to the sandbox account
- Click view/edit profile
- The Alpha Numeric Account ID should be listed
Thank you,
Jennifer
