Hi! I face the same issue too. My transaction was rejected saying that “paypal gateway rejected request! 1%. Does anybody know what it means?

Did you ever figure this out? Pay pal won't help me.

I am facing the same error, I am using PayPal express checkout with Magento 2.2.8

I am not sure about the exact scenario that's why it is hard to be fixed.

I was purchasing some Hay house product, produced in the states but they do have an Australian link, pay pal rejected  my payment by 0.1% is it safe to use another method of payment

We are on Magento 2.4.2

Is it related to trying to use pay pal credit? or do you have any idea what the issue was? No one has an answer. Others can check out fine.
