$89.95 Mystery Box - Fraud from HYYF INC https://superbuyershow.com

I saw an ad from Facebook, then bought the item from the company link: <removed>The item costs $89.95.

The transaction was charged HYYF INC  <removed>, which is a different merchant from the company I bought.

Weeks later, I received an empty bubble bag shipped from PS Lightweight - <removed> It is absolutely empty, except for a paper coupon !

After searching the shipping address online, I realized that many people reported being scammed by this company, especially from that address. I'm trying to dispute with Paypal. I hope they will protect buyers and stop those scammers, but it seems not to be the case based on many posts here.

Please advise what I should do in this case. Thank you.

Hi @THD3

I'm sorry to hear of the trouble with this transaction.

We do offer Buyer Protection for most transactions to help protect the buyers money in a situation like this. It sounds like you've already taken steps to file a dispute against this transaction.

I hope this information helps!

Thanks,

My search of the payment account yielded the trust pilot link below.

<removed>

More and more of this links/ads are popping up on Facebook so i started reporting them as i see them. Crazy thing is that they are FB sponsored ads!

Heres another to add to the list: <removed>

<removed> using the same format except stealing warehouseone FB page info in order to scam. A message string on scam sites using their info started <removed>

Hope this helps someone.

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

Paypal would not be able to check every individual seller / merchant / company in over 200 countries worldwide that adds paypal to their website to accept payments.

So they give you 'some' buyer protection but the onus is on you to risk assess your transactions.

They do stop bad companies from using Paypal when enough claims start rolling in.
However as they are in China (mostly) then its easy for them to just start over with a new name, so stopping them does not really do anything so
to recognise them -

1. No return address on the returns policy. The site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) but they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost often more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number. if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. Rarely company address information.
4. Great pictures of items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.
5. Fake reviews.
6. Google and you can often see previous company names as they change them once enough claims roll in and Paypal stop them using their services and start over.
7. Send fake tracking numbers to win item non receipt of item claims.

this is exactly what I'm going thru with the same company, and I filed a dispute with PayPal yet they say it was delivered, only after reading this did I realize that the delivery was a paper coupon! I think the weight of the item should be taken into consideration by PayPal before denying my dispute, as I order 2 boxes and the item would have been less than a pound delivered. now im out over 100 dollars and PayPal says nothing about these scammers?,,

Contact customer services and ask them to re-open the dispute as item received but not as described?

Just a question: at what time does paypal ban the account? This has been gong on too long with the facebook scam pages and the same practice by this company and others. They are purposefully not sending the items or send junk items not as advertised.

We have just been scammed too I been reporting it on the scam websites. The seller has said to PayPal it’s been delivered but we never received anything? So I’ll have to contact PayPal as soon as they are open again. I’m surprised PayPal even allow this company to sell to people and then not offer refunds by believing them that we received the item when we never received anything.

I too have fallen to this scam. Today I contacted Canada post who were very helpful. They told me I needed to contact the seller so I opened up my email to my PayPal confirmation. I gladly followed the suggestions on the dispute page. Within 1 hour I received a response from PayPal with ruling in my favor and am being reimbursed 100%.
