Account Limited after receiving unwanted/random goods and services payments

In November I received 5 payments in succession from a random person that I do not know. I didn't ask for these payments and didn't know about them. The person then disputed the charges and got their money back immediately. I was charged the transaction fees and they go their money back. My account was then limited due to "suspicious activity". I did not know about any of it until I logged in after I finally got a text message saying that my Paypal account was limited due to suspicious activity. All of the email notifications were going to a spam folder randomly (normal notifications go to my inbox).

I've had PayPal for 23 years and have never had any issues. PayPal refuses to listen to me and won't lift the limitations on my account or believe that I wasn't involved in the weird 5 transactions posted. On top of that, I'm trying to submit the documentation to lift the account limitation but it won't recognize that I already resolved the negative account balance. How do I talk to a real person to get this resolved?

Every time I get onto chat with Paypal they do not reply until I go to bed and then they close the chat thread by the time I am able to respond. When they do respond it's always the same generic answer stating that they can't refund Goods and Services transaction fees and that they're sorry but there's nothing they can do.

I am getting to almost a month after all of this started and I am getting to the point where I am probably going to abandon my Paypal account and go with another company. I used to love Paypal but now I hate it as I can't get anywhere to resolve this issue. No one seems to be able to think outside of a script and help me resolve this problem. I am more than willing to do my part but I am being hindered by Paypal's website and staff.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Thank you in advance.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get to anyone on live chat. Sending them the message doesn't do anything as detailed in my original post. They just read off a script and tell me there's nothing they can do when someone sends me goods and services. When I tell them that I wasn't involved in the transaction and it was a mistake, they literally ignore it and tell me they can't do anything about someone sending me goods and services money.

What is PayPal phones? Do you mean a phone number? I haven't found one that allows me to talk to a person yet.

I'll look into contacting Facebook.
