I added money on cyber Monday $1250.00 at a store with cash to buy a mattress with PayPal shopping. I paid a fee three times to add the money I had no problem adding it. The problems started when I went to check out They denied my payment twice even though I had enough. Then I tried to transfer out of PayPal through my bank and in got denied.. so I missed my cyber Monday sale for my mattress. I then logged back into my account next day it asked me confirm my info I did that a received an email from PayPal saying thanking for confirming you can use your account again. I then sign on and find my account locked for 180 days for violating policy.I called several times they said I shouldn’t be locked and are sending it to their back department and week goes by I get the same email with no information on why this is happening they say it final and send me their policy which I’ve read and have not violated. Is this legal in NYS and what are my options to get my balance out of PayPal asap. If anyone can give me any tips or pointers I’d appreciate it very much!!!

Hi @Mattbgi87,

Welcome to the PayPal Community and thank you for your post!

I am sorry to hear your account has been permanently limited. I know this must be frustrating. Please be assured that we do not take the decision to permanently limit an account lightly. It sounds like an appeal has already been submitted. Depending on the review process, it can take a few days to complete.

I would suggest you allow for 14 business days to pass. If you still don't receive an email update by then, please contact our Customer Support again. To contact us, simply click here. Alternatively, you can contact us via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/PayPal or Twitter @AskPayPal.

I hope this helps!
