Can I get a chargeback after I issue a refund to the customer?

Can I receive a chargeback  from the buyer even after I issued him a refund?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

In general, the buyer can file a chargeback with their bank even if you've already refunded the payment. However, if we can see that the payment was refunded in full correctly, we won't be charging you again for the chargeback case.

I have the same issue, I refunded the buyer because he filed a complaint the same day I charged him for a service that I have a signed contract for, then a week later he filed a dispute with his credit card company and PayPal reversed his payment again after I allready refunded him making my PayPal balance negative. I have tried to file a complaint in the resolution center but they will not allow me to. I am very angry. I can't get anybody from PayPal to assist. This is **bleep**

I’m having the same problem. PayPal keeps deciding against me and it’s like GAH I can’t just take a loss like that. Did you ever figure this out?
