I'll try to make this short. I received a scam charge of $3352. it charged $1126 to papal, and $2225 to my connected chase account.
I have never been in this situation before, and contacted Chase as well. They refunded their portion ($2225) but because of that, PayPal could not refund the full amount they attempted to as Chase refused. Paypal then considered the case closed in my favor.
I am still missing $1126 from PayPal. I called and received a "yea you shouldn't have done that." But nothing more.
I will contact chase in the morning, but I don't think I'll be able to get my money back although it was a simple mistake from being scared I'd lost $3300...
