Dispute seller transaction

I sold a iphone to a buyer who paid from overseas for her family in SA. After following all the instructions given from PayPal the parcel was delivered in May .. I have paid 2 cash transaction to PayPal that are really high in SA Rands after PayPal confirming no more fees will be requested after the 2nd amount paid they still have not released payment and requested another cash transaction to be paid? I have lost my property with complying to how PayPal had requested this sale go …. and still have not received my payment.. This entire transaction seems to have been dishonest.. and no protection towards the seller..

Sadly you have been scammed, you NEVER send anything until the funds are showing in your paypal account balance, even if pending they would show in your paypal account. You have been receiving fake paypal emails.

 

Also you never pay any upfront fee as a seller.

Ignore scammers that send fake Paypal emails telling you that you need to pay an upfront fee to verify/upgrade/or any other reason to 'accept' a payment.

You would certainly never have to send funds via another payment processor/bitcoins/ or tokens/vouchers of any sort.

Any fee is auto deducted by Paypal at the same instant the remainder of the payment is credited to your Paypal account balance.

No funds in your balance = you have not yet been paid, even pending/held payments will still show in your Paypal account activity.

All correspondence was done via PAYPAL’s emails and saved , when I opened the dispute regarding the payment still not being released I attached all communication and proof. The two cash payments which were requested apparently was for a clearance code and activation code? PAYPAL assured me via email no more fees will be asked? I refused to pay the 3rd amount requested thereafter for “Insurnace fees” there is still no money released for the payment which is apparently being held by PayPal. I have sent all relevant documents and emails The email address used for all communication came from - I can’t unfortunately share the email account address as it is not permitted in my community message. The entire transaction was guided from this service provider. I was suppose to get paid the amount form the buyer then reimbursed for the other two fees I made. All fees requested came from the same email account and asked that I use a mobile service number [Removed] a FNB E-walllet , Absa, Standard Bank , Nedbank Mobi money transfer and Capitec E-Wallet .

Yep still a scam, even if the funds were pending they would still show in your paypal account balance.

Paypal tell you to NEVER send anything until the funds show in your balance (pending or otherwise) + in your Paypal account activity ie the transaction would show on your account.
