Hi, So on february 9th I purchased something off of facebook marketplace from a seller, We agreed to use paypal goods and services to complete the transaction, He was paid and He said he would ship out the device and provide tracking, No tracking was ever given and the seller ghosted me, I filed a dispute on paypal on the 14th because He hadn't responded, Its been the 7 days since i disputed the claim and I was supposed to escalate the claim today on the 21st, however i cannot find the option to do so, I don't want to lose my money and paypal help center and calling them was no help, He hasn't responded on paypal or messenger where he ghosted me, How do i escalate my claim when there is no option to? Also it says the case will close on the 6th, I dont want to lose my money on that day, any help?

Hello @EC0351,

Welcome to our community help forum and thank you for your post!

Sorry to hear that you're not able to escalate the dispute. Once you open a dispute, you've 20 days to work with the seller to resolve the dispute. If you can't come to a resolution, you can escalate it to a claim. Here's how to escalate a dispute:

Go to your Resolution Center.
Click View next to the dispute you want to escalate.
Click Escalate to PayPal at the bottom of the page.
Add any relevant information for escalating the dispute and click Submit.

To escalate a dispute, we often require at least 7 days have passed since the payment date. If the 7 days has passed and the escalate option is not reflecting please reach out to our team by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page or send us a message through our Twitter(@AskPayPal) and Facebook page to get this checked further.

I hope this information helps!
