i'm an Indonesian living in the US who have not so much knowledge about the digital marketplace here in the US. I was looking for a fashion item on such a website and made a transaction which directing me to a paypal transaction that looks like a private account. When i already paid it, i realized that i might be dragged into a scam and i'm afraid that i'd actually get scammed, the money has already sent but now i regret it and wanted my money back 😞 how can i get my money back? 😞

Firstly...........

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

i didnt really understand abt the first explanation. Here let me explain from my POV. So in my Country we have a service which makes us able to fill our wallet with other currency (in this case it's USD), so i paid the service with the wanted amount and exactly with the suitable currency exchange, so my wallet was filled with the amount of 110 USD, that's how i am able to paid for the transaction. Note that I paid it and set the shipment to my staying place in missoula, and the rest is this bad luck.. i wonder if there's a chance for me to get my money back? it's around 85USD and now i Only have 20 USD in my pocket 😞
