Help. I need to contact/appeal to Paypal

Hi. I was subjected to a scam and hoax by a seller. He asked me to make payments for 1500USD over 3 payments of 500USD each to 3 different accounts. He sent 3 payment requests from 3 different accounts for the total sum of $1500. So each transaction was $500. The payment is for document recovery services. But after receiving all the money, he blocked me, and I can’t contact him at all. I have been scammed. I raised dispute for all 3 transactions with PayPal. PayPal refunded 1 transaction but not the other 2. Which I don’t understand cause they were all the same, with the same notes etc. only to 3 different accounts. I guess I was naive, and the guy was a professional conman. Anyway, wouldn’t PayPal protect me for all 3 transactions and not just for 1? I want to contact PayPal but there seems to be no avenue, and I am at a lost of what to do. Please help. I am still short of USD1000 - but there seems no way to appeal to paypal or even contact them. I spoke to my credit card company, they said since was done via paypal then I need to sort it with paypal. I am at lost. USD1000 is a lot of money esp and this was a scam/hoax. Please help me, how do I contact paypal to appeal, for them to look at this seriously. Please.

hello @AHJ39

to contact paypal:

during working days and hours of operation

on paypal:

- at the bottom of the Help And Contact page ==> Help & Contact

then at the bottom of the page that opens "contact us" (on the right) and finally, still at the bottom right: "call us"

(you will have an authentication code and a phone number)

if you are having trouble joining paypal, you can do so on twitter and facebook.

paypal is present on both. all you have to do is "send a private message"

( https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter. )

Thank you for your advice. Really appreciate it. I contacted the message centre, and also private messaged paypal via Facebook, but for both it was managed by an automated answering system, not a person. And it kept asking me to go to paypal community. No customer service agent either. I cannot find a phone number anywhere on the page. PayPal makes it so difficult/impossible to contact them, and in the meantime the scammer gets away with USD1000. It is just so frustrating.
