How do I Remove my account which is permanently limited?

Hello, I cannot remove/delete my account COMPLETELY with all my PII.  I was never told to submit any ID from Paypal which is fine.  All I am told is that there is no information that can be provided, and I can not use the account.  At this point, I don't want the account, after over 20 years of using the same account, it gets shut down and put on a limitation that can't be explained??  Doesn't make sense to me and I don't want to continue with them.  I have called customer service and it has been pretty useless to date.  I spent HOURS on a hold line until I just hang up.  How do I get this account removed the normal way using what the app allows? Do I have to go at this by other means on a higher level?

Permanently limited accounts cannot be removed/deleted and are essentially closed as the features are blocked and the financials cannot be removed to prevent the same account info and financials from being used to open new accounts. Also read the PayPal Privacy Statement.

Can you point out to me in the privacy policy where it states holding an account open and keeping my information for life? I "sort of" see what you saying about this is A way to keep people from using the same information, however that doesn't stop someone from Making a new account here nor Does it keep the servers from getting hacked nor my account information from getting stolen. Addresses, bank info is not at more risk since im not logging into this account. I would never know since I am not uaing this service anymore. It's obvious that PP doesn't care about its long term customers, so what other ways do they have in place to fix this?
