Update.

Unfortunately the links I provided in my last response here were removed, but I do come with good news. PayPal has reopened and reclosed my case in my favor and a refund is being issued. I urge everyone who has dealt with and been scammed by Yokawa Network Limited or similar companies to do what I did: DO NOT GIVE UP. There were times when I was close to waving a flag in defeat because of how soul-crushing this entire experience was, but once I found this forum and saw how many other people had been hurt by this company, I was more determined than ever to fight.

I urge you to save any communications with these fraudulent companies, from receipts to e-mails and claims made against them in PayPal itself. Dig on Google. Do reverse image searching and go to sites that help users determine if other sites are scams or not. There are several that do reports and ratings for free. Save everything you find. Then message PayPal again. Show PayPal this community thread with more than 300+ posts of people all claiming the same thing: that Yokawa Network Limited scammed them. And don't hesitate to report the company to ic3.gov which is the internet branch of the FBI that deals with internet fraud and scams.

The more you dig, the more you will find, and the more you find, the more you can throw at PayPal and strengthen your case and have it turned in your favor.

Best of luck to everyone. I sincerely hopes this helps with bringing peace of mind and closure to all of you.

How did you get PayPal to reopen? I can’t get anyone to respond and they closed my case before I could even respond. I gave them everything they asked for - including proof from the USPS that the tracking numbers were NOT tied to my address. Help?

I went to their Contact Us page, scrolled down to where it says Message Us, and wrote a very detailed message in the chat box that popped up. It took a few hours, but an agent read what I wrote and replied. The refund hasn't gone through quite yet, it can take up to 5 days or so apparently, so I'm still monitoring everything closely, but they've stated the ruling was changed in my favor and that I am being issued the refund. In the message I wrote, I included this forum as evidence that Yokawa Network Ltd is fraudulent because there are clearly HUNDREDS of other people who have had the same problem. I made sure to state everything very professionally and politely, also. It's sometimes hard to do that when you've been dicked around so hard by companies like this, but it's important to bear in mind because it strengthens your case. Just keep pushing, and use this forum as evidence to back your claim and support your USPS evidence.

Compile any and all communications with Yokawa Network Ltd you have had. I noticed they have a pattern of changing their story and also ignoring customer complaints, which I brought to PayPal's attention. In my case, someone on Yokawa's end also slipped up and stated my package was delivered to a wrong address, so I had concrete evidence there proving it was not sent to me (when the post office failed to be of any help). I suggest combing communications for any signs like those. Similarly, if your tracking states it was left at a 'community mailbox' or something similar, and you don't have that, also bring that to PayPal's attention as further proof of your claim. And again, link PayPal to this community topic so they can see how many other people have also had issues with this merchant. I sincerely hope this helps!
