How to get a refund

I purchased two machines on January 2021 the seller never shipped them out. I didn’t open up a dispute at the time and years down the line. I’ve been trying to get a refund to no avail, pay pal says it was left too late I feel like there’s nothing I can do as I sent the money as friends and family I have screenshots of the messages from the seller he just ignores me apart from one time, when a buyer from Instagram messaged me about my experience with the seller, the seller replied soon after but tattoo machines weren’t posted after too Is there any way PayPal can help?

Not only did you negate your buyer protection by sending using the friends/family option but also even if you had used goods/services it would be too late to open a paypal dispute unfortunately. Paypal offers buyer protection for up to 180 days only.
