I ordered 2x Watches from Quality Performance Limited Corporation

I purchased 2x Watches from Quality Performance Limited Corporation, instead they supplied 2x Insect Zappers and want me to send the Zappers back at my expense from New Zealand to USA before they will refund, is that right?

In the event of a dispute you choose your seller and not Paypal so you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you go ahead and buy from that seller / country.

Paypal state this >>
IMPORTANT: You may be required to return the item to the seller or other party we specify as part of the settlement of your claim. PayPal Buyer Protection does not entitle you to reimbursement for the return shipping costs that you may incur.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

Ok, so let's get this straight - In good faith I order 2 Kore2 Watches from Quality Performance Limited Corporation, they take my money and incorrectly supply me 2x insect Zappers. When I raise the issue directly with Quality Performance they fail to even respond to my issue so I'm forced to raise it with PayPal.

PayPal force a 21 day window of opportunity to resolve the issue, and despite having 21 days to resolve it and send me the 2x Kore2 watches Quality Performance do nothing. So then I'm forced to request a full refund via PayPal and I am told (by PayPal) that I need to send the 2x insect Zappers from New Zealand to USA at my expense to receive my refund.

This can't be the correct application of PayPal's policy regarding buying from another country?

If I was returning the 2x Kore2 watches then I would understand, but I'm being told to return 2x insect Zappers that I never ordered and never wanted?

That's the risk you chose of buying internationally though isn't it?

If you chose a seller in your own country then you may have something like a small claims court or similar that you can take them to if they don't sort out their mistake.

 

However if its an international seller then you of course can't do that so have to rely on Paypal buyer protection.

That protection is not a 100% guarantee of everything, you have to read it (including the section on what happens when you win a 'not as described' dispute) and then risk assess your transactions.

 

All Paypal can help you with is getting you a full refund after you have returned the item back to the seller.

So, the real problem here is Quality Performance Limited Corporation, and their taking advantage of PayPal's policy by forcing me to return the insect zappers at my cost before they will refund the original purchase of the kore2 watches. Shame on you Quality Performance Limited Corporation, shame on you!!

I hope others will read this and factor this in to their purchasing decision before ordering from Quality Performance Limited Corporation.

Don't buy from Quality Performance Limited Corporation, they will let you down!!
