Is PP*TX on my bank statement a PP transaction?

I have PP*TX appearing on my bank statement but have not purchased anything and it is not showing on my PayPal account even though it looks like its from PP. Is this a scam? Has anyone else had this happen to them and can you get the money back?

Report it to your bank as unauthorized/unrecognized if it’s not appearing in your PayPal account.
