My paypal account got permanently limited after a 5$ donation on my Twitch stream. I've tried to contact paypal but no response. What can I do to lift my limitation. It's not the first donation that I'm receiving it's the second one.

Most common reasons for an account limitation are:-

1. You have a previously limited account (temporary or permanent) and you have tried to open a new account and not resolved the issues with the other account first.
2. Using a VPN.
3. Not being in the country where you have opened a Paypal account.
4. Being under 18 / minor account.
5. Having 2 Paypal accounts or more of the same account type.
6. Not having your legal name on your Paypal account.
7. Selling items (often virtual or digital) that Paypal consider a high risk of disputes/chargebacks OR items that violate their acceptable use policy.
8. Using the friends/family option for sales transactions to try and evade Paypal fees and risk of disputes.
9. Violating their acceptable use policy as per link.

If none of those then...

You need to contact customer services to resolve any limitation or account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Same here. I had my account from 2014 and just not even a week ago I unexpectedly had it permanently limited for seemingly no reason. All I could pinpoint it to would be a single 1€ donation from a friend as a joke from a link I had set up years ago that I completely forgot about since nobody has ever used it before. To get my long standing account banned for something as dumb as this and they won't even provide you with a proper reason as they claim it would "circumvent their system" is simply put, pathetic.  

Their excuses that now there is nothing can be done is just ridiculous. Their user agreement is ridiculously long and in many areas vague, I'm not surprised people get banned left and right for arbitrary reasons, just didn't expect myself to be next in line. Customer service is truly wonderful at PayPal... said no one ever.  PayPal then probably wonders why people are closing their accounts with them and moving elsewhere and they're losing stocks.
