My PayPal account go restricted directly just after i created it and i don't know why

Hello, so i created my account and sent my ID card to check my identity, and just after that the site said my account wat restricted and wont explain the reason. I checked the mail they sent about it and it doesn't explain why too. I suppose it's because i said my nationility was "New Caledonia" and sent a French ID card, because New Caledonia doesn't have any passport or ID card. This is very frustrating please help me !

Proof of identity
The following is a list of acceptable documents you may provide:

• Government issued ID, such as a driver's license or passport
• Employment authorization card
• Permanent resident card

Hello thanks for your response. The problem is i gave my French National ID Card which is delivered and recongnized by French government, but my account is locked.

Have you not got anything with a photo and your country on it?

Can you get a citizen card or similar?

If not contact customer services and give them a geography lesson !!

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
