i have stored my credit card in my PayPal account 3 years ago and i never did any transaction, 5 days ago i received an invoice that i did by an ad service from Facebook Ireland which i did not do or authorize!! i filed a case and PayPal closed it without refunding my money, saying "

We've completed our review of your unauthorized activity case, and we’ve determined there was no unauthorized use.

The payment in question was sent as part of a billing agreement you previously set up with the merchant.

"i don't know what to do, did PayPal stole my money?

Check if you had a subscription set up.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

after i received the mail for the invoice, i checked my paypal account and found

Automatic Payments was set on the same day of the charge which i did not do, so i did deactivate it, but originally i did not set up any agreement or autopayment, i did not even open my papal account for more than a year

Hello @sherifhafez,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I am sorry to know about the unrecognized subscription which was not authorized by you. I know the importance of getting this fixed. As the case has been reviewed , and the same decision was made, this decision would be final on the case. Since you have canceled the subscription on the account, please reach out to the merchant to request a refund.

Good Luck,
Ayesha
