I sold a personal item to a good friend. Now My account is limited until I can provide proof of purchase from supplier. I can't provide something that because I don't have a supplier. What can I do?

I sell at a few antique shows in different states and offer Paypal for a way for my customers to pay.

Paypal now wants information from me after being a member for 10 years +. They also asked me for a picture of my passport, which I don't have one.  Receipts for the three items I sold. both were for 20.00. The are holding all my money.  What is going o with Paypal??

Hello @Violetmisery13 and @alisonsallohio

Welcome to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the limitations that have been applied to your account. When we request proof of purchase from a supplier, you can provide the original receipt from when you purchased the item. If you've had the item for a long time, you'll want to type up a letter explaining what the item is and roughly how long you've had it. Then, upload that in place of the receipt. If anything else is needed, you'll receive an email with additional information. Please note that all steps have to show completed/submitted within your Resolution Center before the case will move into a review status. @alisonsallohio, I understand you do not have a passport. In this situation, you'll want to provide another form of a government-issued photo ID

I hope this helps!
