Hi, I just want to warn other potential customers to buy from this company.
I ordered an item form Yinglian Trading Co. (they have a more websites like ipigeon.store ) where they are selling goods for a quite good price.
how they do it
1) you buy a product and pay through the paypal.
2) they send you a different product (much cheaper)
3) when you try to write them the don't communicate back, so you try to contact them through the PayPal and of course you want your money back.
4) they offer you they would give you 40% of price for the original product back immediately if you keep the product or you could send it back but they cannot cover the shipping cost
I believe that this four steps are the same for every scammed buyer, the next steps may differ.
I believe PayPal doesn't want scammers to use they platform, because it would have negative impact to their brand and credibility.

I've just been told by PayPal that the item I received, which is nothing like the one ordered, has to be returned at my cost and reach China within 10 days! I paid $26.78 and postage would be approx €40 from Spain but highly unlikely it would arrive in 10 days as it took 7 weeks to arrive. No other options, so do I drop it, keep the useless item received and lose the full amount or do I pay even more money out to return the item and chance getting a refund? Either way I will be out of pocket. Very disappointed in PP considering the number of complaints they have had - I suppose the moral is, always search the company on PP first and don't buy anything else from China.

Yep, lesson learned. Don't buy anything else from China. I no longer trust PP either, infact I am disgusted with them after going back and forth so many times and yet they wont refund me even though they know this company is scamming hundreds and hundreds of people.

poeticpaula - Thinking of contacting the FSA as PayPal come under their umbrella. Waiting on a final response from PP first.

I want to reply to PP's message to my escalated case in the resolution center, but i cannot find any button to click to reply. Can someone here be able to tell me where and how please?. The message I received from them was same as everybody else's , that seller will giv eme a full refund if i return the crap item. But reading all the comments here, I just would like to agree to the last offer the seller messaged me of 60% to refund, better than nothing. Thank you

I had exactly the same scenario but I had 8 days to ship it back to China. Cannot believe PayPal are still sending money to this scammer. I can tell you when you tell PayPal your not returning item or the 10 days passes they will close your case this is exactly what happened to me

I have just received a full refund from PayPal and have just been told that the postage will be refunded as well (postage refunds come from another company). PayPal gives you a date which the product needs to be posted back by. This date is NOT the date the product needs to arrive back in China. If you do not send the product back by the date PayPal gives you, your case will be closed.
When you send the product back, take a photo of the tracking slip AND a photo of the item you have sent back with the address stuck to the envelope. My suggestion is to copy and paste the address into a program like Word and then print the address. This ensures the address is exactly the same as what PayPal gives you.
Upload a photo of the tracking number and the item in a postpack. PayPal will then make a decision. In my case it was positive.
After you receive a refund for the item, you can apply to have the postage refunded by going to the 'Request return shipping refund'
I was very surprised but happy with the outcome

Same issue. Why have "YOU PAYPAL" allowed this company to keep scamming people despite all the scams and reporting? My order was 28th March 2020. You "PAYPAL" have allowed this scam to continue despite many issues and reports from scammed customers in Jan and Feb 2020. I want YOU PAYPAL to reimburse me $10.11US.
