Seller appeal PayPal’s decision on my case

Hi guys, I need you help. I'm a seler in Spain.I have one problem about buyer 's dispute. My case is below:The buyer submit a dispute that the product is not as described ,so I ask buyer to return the product.Once the product is returned ,I will issue refund to him.But he submit the fake return tracking number in Paypal's dispute case,just like:12345.And Paypal request me to feedback.In Paypal's option there is only two option:One is we confirm that we have received the product.And another is that we issue the full refund. You know buyer didn't return to us and just provide the fake tracking number.So it means that these two options are not fair to me. Have you meet this problem before?And how did you deal with it?Thank you very much.

Don’t do anything. You did not receive anything back so do not confirm and because of that will not issue a refund.

PayPal will eventually review the case again, check the invalid tracking number and rule in your favor.

Make sure the number is really invalid like “12345”. If they gave a trackable number to your zip code, that shows delivered, you’ll have to appeal with new evidence.

Thank you for your reply. I'm sure the seller provide the tracking number is 12345. As Paypal require seller to response in the limit time.If I didn't have any response ,I worried about that Paypal will make the decision that seller is lost this case.Are you sure Paypal will review the case again if I didn't have any response?Thank you very much.

It makes sense for PayPal has to review it again to decide if the money would go to seller or you, right? The case is not closed yet right? If you do not respond, PayPal checks the return tracking, if invalid, you should win.

If buyer ends up going as far as to buy some fake but working tracking off the dark net and gives it to PayPal while case is in review winning the case then you have to provide evidence that the tracking info is fraudulent by verifying the tracking info with the shipping company to see if your address is even on the shipping label and give the written documentation to PayPal on appeal.

Dear,Paypal didn't get me the correct review .Although the buyer provide the fake tracking number,Paypal just decide in the buyer's favour.We provide all the proof that we didn't receive the return and the return tracking number provided by buyer is invalid number.Do you know how we can do next?Do we have the solution to appeal ?I try to report the problem but failed. So sad.

It's easier for Paypal to simply forget you exist. That money is long gone.
