Sent money to a wrong address

I was sending money to a person, he gave me his email ID, while I was typing his email, paypal gave me a suggestion with his name, I chose it. Then I found out that I sent to a wrong person shares the same name. I tried to contact this person but he is not responding.

If you sent the funds using the goods/services option which I believe is the only option in your country then open a dispute for item not received and put in exactly what has happened. Make sure you escalate to a claim after trying again to contact the recipient. Once escalated as the recipient has nothing to send you then you may be covered under buyer protection.

Failing that if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then reach out to your card issuer for help?
