Strictlymot.com is a fraudulent company has anyone reported this to paypal before?

I tried reporting that Strictlymot.com was a fake website and the customer service rep said there is nothing they can do, has anyone experienced Paypal not taking reports of companies that are not legitimate.    The company uses the name Lesha [removed], you would think that Paypal would want to know about these companies and disable their accounts.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Paypal would not be able to check every individual seller / merchant / company in over 200 countries worldwide that adds paypal to their website to accept payments.

So they give some buyer and some seller protection. However that protection can never be a 100% coverall so you need to read it so you can risk assess your transactions.

They do stop bad companies from using Paypal when enough claims start rolling in.
However its easy for most of them to just start over with a new name, so stopping them does not really do anything.

Actually, it is VERY easy for them to do so and it is actually part of their job. The more frauds the more profit loss for PayPal (corporate/shareholder). Who ever told you that vetting vendors is not the duty and responsibility of PayPal is just wrong, even if it is in their TOS there are many state laws and even federal laws involved as well as banking regulation that states otherwise. It is in the best interest of all that every scammer be caught, and to assure they can not do this again.

The only time that PP did not want to credit me for a fraud, my bank did. I use PP and my credit card, I have DOUBLE protection.

You are talking about every single seller / merchant / company in over 200 countries that adds paypal to their website.

I could set up a website in a few days > scam as many as possible and then by the time the claims come in close down and re-open again under another name etc, especially if based in Asia somewhere.

Paypal cannot vet everyone and that is why they give some seller and some buyer protection, up to you to then vet your own transactions just like everyone else does.

PayPal has been allowing there customers to be Ripped Off for Years. I paid from my PayPal account, never received my order 78 dollar Drill, PayPal Declined my request for refund and NEVER gave me a reason. PayPal even Ignored my numerus emails to them asking to explain why PayPal denied my Claim. No wonder so many Scam websites open, then know as long as PayPal get a cut of the Ripp off they can Ripp you off for a long time!

After Paypal receives a complaint about a fraudulent company and how they are ripping people off, they should be eliminated.  Instead they refuse your claim BECAUSE the seller provides a tracking number that says the package has been delivered.  It may have been delivered somewhere, but not to the address or person who was supposed to get it.  Paypal provided me the tracking number for what I ordered.  I ordered a product that was 35 pounds.  I contacted the Postal Inspection Service and gave them the tracking number.  They said the package was delivered to an address - NOT MINE - that the package weighed 2.8 pounds and what it cost to ship.  I provided Paypal this information and they denied my claim BECAUSE. The seller had given them a tracking number.  Not good business practives.  Do Not Buy from this company.  They use another company the take you money.

Hello @RDS49,

Welcome to our community help forum and thanks for posting here!

I understand your concern about the outcome of your claim. You can appeal the case if there's any new information which proves that the item is not delivered to your address. I recommend you to contact the shipping carrier if they can supply you with a document that confirms it wasn't delivered your address. Please get a confirmation receipt or screenshot from the shipping carrier showing that the item was delivered to a different address.

Once you get the document, please reach out to our team to validate the details and help you accordingly. You can contact us by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page or send us a message through our Twitter(@AskPayPal) and Facebook page for additional assistance.

I hope this information helps!

Since the US Postal Service will nor give me the information YOU are requesting - how about I provide YOU the tracking number and I will also give you the phone number to call and YOU can ask the if the package was delivered to my address?

Not paypals problem, you chose the seller and you sent the funds to them.

They just sent the funds as you requested and give you 'some' buyer protection.

So if you file non receipt of item and tracking proves the item was delivered then the dispute is auto-closed.

Then the onus is on you to prove otherwise.

Hundreds of others have appealed with the information supplied from the couriers.

All you have to get is information to say the item was not delivered to you, you are not asking information of where the item was delivered which they cannot provide you with.

Once you have that then appeal to paypal to try and get your funds back from the scam seller you chose to do business with.
