I have been trying to work out an issue for over a week now and I’m finding it difficult to get on to PayPal to resolve it. I discovered an unauthorised withdrawal from my bank account to PayPal with it subsequently being moved back to my bank account. Only it wasn’t to my bank account it was to another account that had been added..a cheque account that I don’t have! I formally lodged a dispute which was investigated and resolved (in PayPal’s eyes) because the money had been transferred to my account (so they thought). So the case is closed and I can’t escalate it any more…no mechanism available to do this. A second unrequested withdrawal has occurred from my own bank account to PayPal so I immediately went in and transferred it back to my real account. I have changed my password several times to something very secure but I just feel like closing my whole PayPal account. How can I contact PayPal without it being a bot?

File a complaint:

Also sweep your devices for viruses, malware, key loggers, etc. Set up 2FA.
Also change password on your PayPal email address too. If a bank acct was added, you would have been emailed about it at one point.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
