Hi brought 2 tickets to a concert from Viagogo August 2022. Concert has been postponed and after contacting Viagogo they say only is concert is cancelled will they refund. Contacted event organiser who say Viagogo is not an authorised seller, mentioned scam sites (??) and said they rebuy n sell tickets and refund goes to original seller. I’m freaking out here as already out of pocket for Sydney accommodation as was not advised concert was postponed (after a 2hr drive to get there). Our accommodation people told us bad news upon arrival. Can PayPal cancel my payment (I now see was in Euros and more than I thought!!!)? I’ve had a busy year with chemo, medical appts etc so haven’t thought to run an eye over PayPal. Haven’t used it much but now I’m so worried. I can’t afford to lose this money as it’s a bit tight having given up work this year to focus on health diagnosis. Any advice please? Would really appreciate it. Many thx
Is it over 180 days since you paid? Only you can only dispute for non receipt of item OR item not as described up to 180 days post purchase.
If it is over that time frame then you could consider a chargeback if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card, that is as long as you are not out of time with them as well?
