Will Paypal cover me if i get scammed buying a Laptop from FB Marketplace

I have found a seller whos is listing a 2021 Macbook Air for $900 and I was able to knock the price down to $770. The seller supposedly has Covid and isn’t able to drop it off or meetup. He has requested for me to pay with Paypal as according to him “paypal is the most secure out of all of payment methods” and its “ most comfortable for both parties”. I really want to purchase the laptop as its within my budget and a bargain in my opinion. My question is if I send it through the good and services option will paypal cover if the seller 1. doesn’t ship it and blocks me after i send the payment. 2. Lies to me and tells me its shipped but it never arrives. 3. If the seller pretends to ship it but provides me false tracking information. I am buying through goods and services so will paypal cover me and give me a full refund if any of these incidents happen and also how does the seller seem and are there any red flags I should look out for. Thanks

That depends on many factors all listed in Paypals buyer protection policy for you to read so you can risk assess your transactions.
Legal (bottom right of Paypals pages) > user agreement > buyer protection.
