Wix Website Owners - PayPal Account Suspension

Are there any fellow Wix website owners who received a PayPal account suspension in the last 2 days (since 04/18/2022)?
A PayPal support specialist told me that a stack of Wix website owners have had their accounts suspended. The suspension is a computer flagged suspension i.e. it's not actually been reviewed by a human being for suspicious / "risky" activity. Support told me that they are looking into why this has happened and just to sit tight while they investigate... No estimated time to fix it. I will definitely lose some sales due to this error 😞
The suspension email reads " After a review, we decided to permanently limit your account as we detected that this account was engaged in activity to deceive PayPal and its customers. You'll not be able to conduct any further business using PayPal..." Pretty harsh for a legitimate web-store selling products to happy customers! FYI, I sell 3D printed motorcycle mirrors, so not some risque/controversial/illegal products
Is anyone else in the same boat?

I continue to call them! Spoke with someone for the 3rd or 4th time today. Again wait 24-72hrs. I would continue to call and stay on top of it let them know this continues to be an issue. I reported it yesterday so 72hrs would put me to thursday/friday today the agent says potentially saturday which is just absurd especially since I have had complaints from customers who prefer to use paypal on my website.

+1 to being a wix owner with account suspended. I have zero disputes or anything. Had my site for a year and a half at least

Yes! This happened to me mid-afternoon yesterday (UK) with no proper explanation. They're holding all my revenue which I need for my business. I was so glad to come across this thread! I tried to contact them but wasn't able to get through, I suppose I can be upset they're not there at 6am although WIX was when I had a problem over there...
I guess we all need to pile in with our complaints/issues to put the pressure on to get it fixed. I use Paypal to offer a familiar quick payment method but this has really put me off. I've removed the payment method from my website so no one tried to send funds there until this is fixed.

Yes, I am also in the same boat. I didn't even finish setting up my new business account (I sell art on my website) and they 'banned' it due to: "PayPal and Wix currently not getting along and there are some legal battles between them that had us limit all accounts with a Wix website linked to it due to their fraudulent activities". Sales rep told me that my issue was escalated and I'll hear back in 3-5 business days. I was paid through Ekwid (3rd party ecommerce app that is hosted on my Wix site), not even through Wix ecommerce. I hope they lift it soon.
