They want to send money to me. I was told that I need to have $50 in my account as a deposit in order to be able to receive the money. I couldn't find it in the PayPal rules. This is true? I'm afraid of being deceived. they showed me a screen and it says Waiting for (my name) to make the security deposit of $50 immediately the (the amount of money that will be sent to me) will be deposited in a sec.

Scam.

You never have to pay a deposit in order to receive money. Any applicable paypal fees are automatically deducted from the payment by PayPal and the rest is reflected in your PayPal account fairly instantly IF INDEED the sender had REALLY sent the payment.

I believe the sender is trying to scam $50 out of you instead and really didn’t send the payment at all. If you log on to your PayPal account and see nothing, then you have not been paid and you’re dealing with a scammer.

Also, keep in mind that Ukraine accounts can only receive and send friends and family payments. Some countries/regions can not send/receive friends and family payments and business accounts in general are unable to receive friends and family payments.
