I recently had a dispute opened up for transactions made from my bank account into paypal, and then from my paypal to my ex girlfriend's aunt. paypal denied the dispute. I was incarcerated the whole time the transactions were happening so how did i get denied? i recently found proof on my phone and laptop that she used a voice changer application to commit fraud to get my bank to push money to her aunts paypal account. her aunt was complicit in this 100 percent.
honestly the fact that i got denied a 300 dollar dispute when i was incarcerated on those dates is mind blowing in itself. what more proof do i need that i was not the one who authorized those transactions? so now i have screen shots and data trail proving that it was her who made the transactions and stole my money. i do not wish to get police involved for many reasons but mainly bc its not their business, its paypal's, and my bank who allowed identity fraud to happen and they were too dumb to catch it.
so, my question is, how can i authorize transactions from a 23 and 1 lockdown???

Hello @dennisbasonic,
Welcome to the PayPal Community. It sounds like this has been quite a hard situation. I'm sorry to hear those unauthorized disputes didn't go quite as you expected. If PayPal has reviewed them and deemed them unauthorized, I'd recommend reaching out to your bank or credit card company if these were funded by your bank or card. If not, you may want to consult with a legal representative to see if you have any recourse against your ex-gf's actions.
My apologies for the inconvenience this has caused,
- Jon K
