"Apply $100 gift card to complete your Payment"

Talking to this lady. And she said she would give me a certain amount of money if I got a gift card for her. We dealt before on PayPal for it and she seemed genuine. Even refunding back my money due to certain issues. And so it progressed as I failed to pay, and she suggested I get a gift card, I did. Sent her codes and she sent me a screenshot where it shows my name, ON paypal.com. everything checks out abt my name and all, and below the payment amount it says: "Apply $100 gift card to complete your Payment" with "Processing..........99/100%" below that. Now I'm confused, she has said she has a business acc and all, but I've never heard of this before. What confuses me the most is it is on the paypal.com site directly with the padlock and everything and doesn't seem to be photoshopped one bit. Is it fake? Is it real?

You never pay any upfront fee as a seller.

Ignore scammers that send fake Paypal emails telling you that you need to pay an upfront fee to verify/upgrade/or any other reason to 'accept' a payment.

You would certainly never have to send funds via another payment processor/bitcoins/ or tokens/vouchers of any sort.

Any fee is auto deducted by Paypal at the same instant the remainder of the payment is credited to your Paypal account balance.

No funds in your balance = you have not yet been paid, even pending/held payments will still show in your Paypal account activity.

thing is, it wasn't an email. and I'm not a seller. I have a regular account and she has a business account and I'm not buying anything or selling anything to her. it's some "allowance" thing. she sent a screenshot of the screen on that page with paypal.com and it's secure padlock thing to indicate it's the real site next to the url. here: https://i.postimg.cc/KYmWjH4z/IMG-20220507-WA0016.jpg
