seller not responding

bought some work boots from a online store. i have contacted the company about returning them and got 1 response and have not got a single response from them since. i have emailed them 3 times and messaged them through their webpage once since and still nothing. i have looked though the paypal options and none of them really seem to fit the situation. i would hate to straight up ask for a refund. i would really rather return the item for a refund but no option for that. i am kind of wondering what to do. never had business just flat out ignore a customer. it has been over a week since this happened and been about 2 weeks since i received them. the whole dealing with this company has been pretty disappointing. on top of these boots not fitting very well the other set was the wrong size. the shoe box for the 1 set were also in very poor condition despite the outside box being in very good condition.

thanks for any advice.

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item OR service
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description or you receive a totally different product.

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. Paypal will review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on the transaction and use the resolve a problem option at the bottom of that details page.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

Do not close the dispute until you have a refund or your item.
If a seller states that they can't refund until you have closed the dispute don't believe them.
Escalate the dispute to a claim within 20 days (before it times out), if you need Paypal to get involved.

If you lose because the seller provides a fake tracking number then post back here for more advice.
If the item arrives and its not what you ordered / not as described then make sure you change the dispute quickly from non receipt. If the dispute times out before you can change it then contact customer services to open a second dispute for the new reason.

If you have previously activated the below link then you may be able to get some shipping costs refunded if paypal tell you to return the item. (or the correct one for your country as this is the U.S link). For new users and from November that option will no longer be available.

https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will issue a chargeback.

If its buyer remorse then that is between you and the seller.

If they don't accept returns you can't force them to do so.

It's not buyers remorse. They just don't fit right. They accept returns. Like I said I received 1 email from them after asking for a return and never heard from them again after that despite emailing them multiple times. I had similar issues with getting no response from them at all when I received tracking numbers and it Said they were shipping me the wrong size. No one responded to catch the issue before they shipped out. There is multiple things that have made me very disappointed about dealing with this company

As far as paypal is concerned its either buyer remorse OR the item is misdescribed, there is no other options unfortunately.

As it does not fit but is as described then that would be between you and the seller to sort out.

But the seller is not responding to my emails or messages through there system which is why I was here. I guess I may just have to take a chance going through PayPal with one of the things that are close enough
