unauthorized twitch payment?

I received an email last night from twitch saying I was being charged $616 for something so I went to Paypal to check and there it was, a charge for $616 to twitch. I check my twitch and someone had logged in and purchased 50,000 bits and donated them to random Indian streamers I've never seen or heard of let alone been to their pages and decided to donate. I immediately disputed the charges with Paypal and within 20 minutes they told me no unauthorized purchases were made. In the entire time I've been on Twitch (6 years) I have only ever subbed to 2 people, I have my statements and such showing the dates I am charged every single month for the same amount of $5.65 then all the sudden a $600 charge and Paypal just thinks that's normal activity for me? Has anyone had anything like this happen and how did you get your money back?

The unfortunate fact is that you have a subscription set up between Paypal and Twitch that authorises Paypal to pay any amount of money that Twitch requests under that subscription. So regardless of amount paypal will pay it for you as you authorised it.

So your issue is between Twitch and you as sounds as if your Twitch account was hacked? Maybe talk to their customer services?
