Alias name change

I had the name on the account to my Virtual Assistant's alias, as "she" had her own virtual persona to set appointments and other secretarial tasks. I have $2.5K tied up for over a year now, and they simply tell me I can't do anything to unblock my account and retrieve my money since my name (real) does not match the Alias I created the account with, all my other personal info does match, only the Alias needs to be changed. Their **bleep** policy does not contemplate this scenario I have. I only have 2 options: find a person that matches my Virtual Assistant's name or open a company with that name. Both options suck. Am I getting robbed here?

Hi, I already did and the options they gave me are not viable, so they are keeping my money. Sort of a "legal" scam if you may.
