PayPal's Xoom is a SCAM – my $500 transfer sent from PayPal to a local bank account magically disappeared, and the support has been ignoring my messages for almost two months now. They replied only once last week, stating they "sincerely apologize" and "will look into it" as if it weren't a serious violation of the law and evidently fraudulent activity on their side. My case is not the first one – it seems to be common practice. NEVER USE XOOM if you don't want to stress out looking for your money for months on end.
