My account is restricted, it's been 180 days since I received an email about the funds being withdrawable. But every time I try to withdraw it, a message always appears:
"Things don't appear to be working right now Sorry, but we need more information. Please contact Customer Service for assistance."
I really regret storing funds in Paypal because it turns out they stole it. I have contacted Customer Service but their answers are always incoherent, like they are confused. I have had this problem for more than 14 days, Be careful for you guys, don't store a lot of funds in Paypal because this could happen to you.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.
If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.
However you have to wait until you receive the Paypal email citing you are now eligible to withdraw those funds.
Sometimes they confiscate funds if you have violated their acceptable use policy.
Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Good afternoon
Following your rules, I have the full legal right to withdraw funds from my balance!
Since one hundred and eighty days have already passed, there have been no requests for a refund or disputes in my direction from other users, I ask you to remove the withdrawal limit from my account immediately!
Sincerely
Quinta Sudduth

Today I experienced it!!!! Last March I deposited $400 into my Paypal account to buy something online. But suddenly I got an email that my Paypal account was restricted. Worse still I had to wait for 180 days.
After waiting 6 months I wanted to withdraw my money and what happened? It couldn't always show an error message. I contacted Paypal Service and they kept asking for data verification. Why do they keep asking for verification and collecting everyone's data. I don't understand and am disappointed! The service is unclear and bad for me! Hopefully in my country Paypal is blocked by the government so that all citizens in my country don't experience bad things like me!
