I ordered some clothes on Facebook from some company called Cashmere Tribe. When the payment went through on Paypal, it was for a company listed as Briquao Co. Ltd. Seems suspicious to me. Anyone else had any dealings with either of these "companies'?

I was amazed at the amount people that have been scammed by this company and even more surprised that PayPal is not aware of what is going on. After offering a couple dollars or telling you to give it to a friend they except a return but not pay for shipping. So you end up paying more to return the product to China then what you paid for the product in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous I can’t understand why PayPal would find this a feasible solution. In all my years of buying online I have never had a reputable company refused to stand behind their product. This is why there is no link to their website to forward to PayPal.

I am in the midst of a dispute with them now. YES they are a scam, they dont send what you order and PP cant give you a refund unless you pay to ship your items back to China which can cost more than the item itself. STAY AWAY FROM BRIQUAO

I think one of the most disappointing things in this is the absolute fraud Pay Pal is allowing and is participating in. While the quality of the items can be debated, the large graphic with the words MADE IN AMERICA is not up for debate. My bra had a made in China label in it. And then PayPal says they cant force them to refund the money, but they can! All they have to do is reverse the charge.

Hello @@Temp20231124af and @Martha63,
Thanks for stopping by the PayPal Community Forum!
I understand you've both recently opened disputes, and they haven't turned out the way you expected. It sounds like you have both opened Significantly Not as Described dispute cases. In these cases, to create an amicable resolution, the item is typically asked to be returned. If you haven't opened a dispute, you can do so by following these steps on our Help Center here. Before filing, I recommend reviewing this Help Center article for information on what situations may be covered and our User Agreement. For any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Customer Support.
I hope you both receive a refund!
- Meghan

That is all well and good, but the cost to return the merchandise exceeds the cost of the refund, and they only say they will refund the money if the item is in the same condition as when they sold it. Now a company that uses graphics to imply you are getting American goods and refuses to refund money under the terms they hold forth can not be trusted to actually refund the money when they get the item back. We already know they are untrustworthy, so how can I trust they would be truthful as to the condition of the item. This is my last post on the subject.
