Constant unauthorised Just Eats orders - help

Hi. Since 11th Jan 23, my PayPal account has been hacked 15 times, where someone has ordered a takeaway to various addresses throughout Birmingham and London (I live nowhere near either). Every time I report the transaction, PayPal refund me and I go through all the usual 'secure your account' actions. Last week, I even had to complete an additional security activity and provide PayPal with photographic ID. Then guess what... last night... someone enjoyed another takeaway on me. I am absolutely fed up and furious that this keeps happening. Any ideas why/how? Is my only option to close my PayPal account? My just eat account shows no suspicious activity at all. Please help!?

Hello @N206206,

Thank you for visiting the PayPal Community Forum!

I am sorry to know about the unauthorized activity in your account. I understand this would be very concerning and upsetting! I recommend you to try changing your email address and adding 2 Step Verification in your account. PayPal’s 2-step verification (two-factor authentication) gives you an extra layer of security when accessing your account. Here's the article that helps you with the steps to add this feature in your PayPal account : PayPal’s 2-step verification

If the issue persists, feel free to reach PayPal Support team

Best wishes,

Bindu
