Here's an example of one of the latest scams. Don't be deceived

I received this email on June 18th 2024. It seemed slightly legit at first, but also suspicious. After reading it all the way through, and then checking my paypal account activity to verify nothing has gone through, and verifying that paypal's customer service number is definitely not that, I knew it was a scam. So I'm sharing it with the community so y'all can be aware of yet another scam tactic.
The email simple said: 

"dear [my full name]
Note 12265581283
Joining Email

Authentication memo, striking touchdown!

Payment for invoice (MLDS3062580) has hit our accounts Thank you
IPiTEgaLrgUvZ"

The email also had this attachment as a pdf:
fraudulent paypal invoice.png

Scam has been ongoing for years.

Nothing in your paypal activity = scam.

Phone number to call customer services in the email =scam.
