Hello guys, I have a closed case, in buyers favour but is unjustified. How can I appeal the decision? I don't find an option to appeal

You can only appeal if you have new evidence not available to paypal at the time of their original decision.

Appeal by contacting customer services.

The PayPal advice is that you have 10 days to appeal a decision. I've had near £1,500 taken from my account which PayPal says they cannot find an a unauthorised payment. However I can't find an appeal pathway.

They sent me a denial ON THE SAME DAY as I responded to their request for more proof of payment (as if that isn’t obvious since it was paid via PP). They just sent the request yesterday. I assumed they were wanting to see the actual cc transaction so I sent that and they denied anyway. WTH!

A) if I misunderstood they could have clarified what they wanted. I offered to also provide email trails with the vendor if they needed them.

B) they didn’t give me 24 hours to respond and

C) THERE IS NO APPEAL BUTTON.

Am I surprised? NO. Paypal has always had the worst, most unresponsive customer service in the world (unless apparently they are denying a claim). I look forward to them getting more competition. I have been a loyal customer for decades but would gladly dump them for a better company. They are fine until you actually need help. Thiel’s legacy lives on.
