How do I block requests for payment?

I'm receiving a slew of fraudulent requests for payment. To the best of my recollection, I have never received a valid request for payment, and I can't imagine a probable circumstance where that could happen. How do I permanently disable or block all requests for payment on my account?

Sorry to hear that you're getting the fraudulent requests for payment. No need to worry! Don’t call any phone numbers stated in the invoice note or open suspicious links. You can report any unwarranted invoices or money requests by logging in to the PayPal website or the PayPal app or forward to phishing@paypal.com and view this page for more details on spotting fake email's or website here.
You can also decline any unwanted money requests in your account. To cancel an invoice, find the invoice in your list of invoices and click the More Options icon on the right side of the screen. However, if you can’t, we ask that you disregard the invoice and forward the email you received to us. Thank you for your response, but this does not answer my question or solve my problem. Requests for payment are 100% fraudulent, and the feature seems to have been designed for abuse. How do I permanently block ALL future requests for payment?

Hey @mhajicek,
I totally understand your concern here. Unfortunately, the option to stop receiving payment requests is not available. You can block the user, so they'll no longer be able to send you money, message you, or find you in the PayPal directory. If you no longer want to receive payments or messages from another PayPal user, you can block them via the PayPal by following the steps listed here :
Click Send & Request.
Click Contacts and select the name of the person you want to block.
Click Block this contact.
Click Block to confirm.
