How do I get an Uber charge refunded for a journey I never booked?

My Paypal account has been charged for an Uber journey (dated 23/10/23) I never booked. My Uber account shows no booking since 10/12/22. I disputed the charge and Paypal have determined that 'there was no unauthorised use' and won't refund. So now I'm £15.42 out of pocket. How do I appeal the decision? What next steps are available to me?

I am sorry to know about the outcome of the dispute. You can appeal the claim within 10 days of case closing. To appeal the outcome of the claim, please reach out to our team by clicking the 'Contact' option at the bottom of PayPal page. I managed to get this resolved via Uber directly. Appears the problem was their side and they've credited the amount to my Uber account.

For food at a KFC in France. I live in Australia. It’s so hard to get in contact or get a decent reply from Uber they are basically implying that perhaps a family member used my account. I’ve contacted PayPal but they are waiting on a response from Uber. Has anyone had this experience? How was it resolved?
