I reported the unauthorized transaction, but I received an unsatisfactory response.

On the night of November 15th, while I was resting, I received a notification about a failed transaction from my VISA card. Immediately, I thought someone had made an unauthorized transaction using my PayPal account. I checked and discovered that a transaction had indeed been attempted but failed due to insufficient funds in my account. Specifically, the person was trying to purchase a Roblox service package.

I secured my account by changing my password and adding a phone number, all of which were linked to my PayPal. But shortly after, another transaction was successfully completed for a cheaper Roblox package. It seems the person knew that my account balance was lower than before, so they switched to a smaller package. Unfortunately, I couldn't stop this transaction in time, and my VISA card, which was linked to the account, was charged.

I immediately reported the issue to customer support, but the response I received was: "We have recorded the transaction as not unauthorized." What is going on? I submitted a full report with evidence proving that I did not make these transactions, and it is clear that the fraudster had made multiple attempts, with decreasing transaction values, to steal as much money from my account as possible. Yet, I only received such a vague response. Did the support team even review my report properly?
