Does anyone know who Actitech are and why they took unauthorised money from my Paypal? Is it possibly a yoga/fitness app I purchased for half the amount (to trial it)and now they are just taking money automatically?!

I had the same issue; agreed to a $10 trial, and next thing I know, there's an additional $48 charge!

I just found out those payments in the name of Actitech were actually going to Avast security even though I had emails from them confirming that I had ended the free trial. (USA)

I got billed twice, once July 5 for $25.99 and today, Oct 3 for $53.19. It was for a fasting app. On their website: https://health-fitness.io/
you'll see a list of their apps. Here are their apps: Muscle Booster, FitCoach, Yoga-Go, FastEasy, Omo.
I've sent a cancellation request email to their support at health-fitness.io (no response as I sent it 10 minutes ago)
I've opened a case on paypal through their Resolution Center (no response as it takes them 5 days from today 10/3/23).
I found their app on my phone (FastEasy), went into the account area and cancelled the subscription. "Your subscription has been cancelled. Please await your subscription status update in your profile w/in 15 minutes. You will not be charge IN THE FUTURE." Well, that just sucks as I don't the current charge to go through. It's for three month period. Oh that's charming, as soon as I hit cancel they offered it to me for $8.99/month. With a giant Change Plan button. Those not looking/moving too fast might click that thinking it's finalizing their cancelation, it's not.
They should notify us a week in advance before pulling the 3 month renewal fee. Not 2 days prior. Just a really bad job at customer relations. They are being called out for being a scam online but I think that maybe they're legit, just poorly managed.
Once I get responses I'll post about what happened. In the meantime, I'm calling the credit card company to stop payment.

Artitech apps Muscle Booster, FitCoach, Yoga-Go, FastEasy and Omo will NOT allow you to get a refund after your credit card is pending. In my case for FastEasy, that charge covers 3 months is pending now. I was freaking out so I emailed their support team and the good news is that they responded fast, the bad news is that unless you stop them before they charge your credit card, you're stuck. They will offer you a year free but you WILL be billed, in my case $53.19 on top of the $25 I spent 7/5/23 to get the app which I thought was a yearly membership.
So they are legit. They just have no clue how to handle customers. A renewal notice a week in advance would go along way. When I also cancelled on the app they offered a YEAR for $8.99. But why not tell us early, have us go through the cancellation and then offer us a deal? That way they'd keep us instead of making us angry. I'm still feeling burned.
Finally, are they serious? They can't issue a refund? Really? It's desperate and unethical. Of course they could, they just won't.
