Is Actitech Ltd linked to a fitness app?

Does anyone know who Actitech are and why they took unauthorised money from my Paypal? Is it possibly a yoga/fitness app I purchased for half the amount (to trial it)and now they are just taking money automatically?!

This is exactly what happened to me in April '24.  I took a trial  on Chair  Yoga, and it renewed w/o my consent.  I have put it in to dispute w PayPal and have advised them to stop/cancel any further  payments.   I have also advised Actitech.  The renewal date was 4-16 the exact  date I cancelled . I notified  PayPal immediately.    Interestingly enuf, Acitetech is located on Cyprus that is known as a well known money laundering country.  Here I thought I was dealing with a USA company.

I am in the same boat and I have no idea who these people are.  Will be opening a dispute as to the charges.

You would think you could get a trial yoga app without getting scammed. Actitech looks like a serious accounting company. Then you realize it's impossible to reach them. PayPal helped me stop them from taking money monthly off my credit card.

I tried this, but am not sure what app this would have been.   I think it was Yoga-Go, and it is no longer on my phone. I re-loaded it to my phone but none of my emails work to log in or recover password.  I looked in my Apple settings and found no subscription there, and also don’t see it in my PayPal autopay list, but the $44.95 was paid to actitech out of my PayPal account today.  I’m not sure what to do next.

That is their trick. It’s very hard to find what app they are. They also don’t show on your subscription. So they can go unnoticed for a long time. The website is so vague that it’s hard to understand what they do. This is a scam to take money. I appealed to PayPal but my request was denied because I didn’t have a cancellation notice! Now I see so many have the same problem. We all should call PayPal and let them know if this scam. That’s the reason I have always used PayPal. To find out what app they are associated with, on your mailbox search for their name and find the first confirmation email. You should see the name of the app in the email . That’s how I found mine. With me, it was FastEasy app on iPhone. But looks like they might operate under several different apps.
