Is Actitech Ltd linked to a fitness app?

Does anyone know who Actitech are and why they took unauthorised money from my Paypal? Is it possibly a yoga/fitness app I purchased for half the amount (to trial it)and now they are just taking money automatically?!

I wasn’t able to get my money back from PayPal because I didn’t have the cancellation proof. But how could I, when it doesn’t even show in my subscriptions? I found them in my email and sent an email to cancel the account. Now I have proof but they have already robbed the initial money. My suggestion is to call PayPal instead of sending a report . Perhaps point to this thread and tell them how many others have been scammed.

I signed up for a Yoga train class yesterday.  Received the Yoga app and did my first workout.  I saw a charge from Actitech and didn’t know who it was from.  I pulled up the yoga account and under their Terms and conditions it showed the Parent agreement was with Actitech.  The amount charged was the amount I agreed to pay.

I honestly think I canceled this the same day I subscribed. I was OK paying for the original 3 months but I never should’ve been charged again. For me, the app is Omo this is interesting: I sent an email asking for a refund. The auto response to the email said they are enjoying time off for the festive holidays. However, when I looked at the subscriptions tab for my account, it says that my subscription was canceled today.

A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product and forget to cancel.

As a buyer you must agree to a billing agreement/subscription before a merchant can take a payment from your PayPal account.

If you don't notice during checkout OR don't cancel then it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

I'd like to know if Actitech Limited is a legitimate exercise site.

It’s one of those ADs that come across on Facebook or Instagram and try to help you lose weight with intermittent fasting. The app is called EASYFAST and you can create an account and delete the subscription. I don’t know how it got my info as well, but I saw it has already taken out $30x3 since November 2023.

Actitech showed up on my statement after I agreed to a trial period on an app called WalkFit. It was legitimate. As the other gentleman said, you must go in to the app’s settings to cancel your subscription before the trial period ends. This way you can avoid the automatic charges. Hope this helps!

A company called ACTITECH was paid A$30.99 from my PayPal account on 7/01/24. I have never had any dealings with this company. My question is how is that a company is allowed to be paid from my account without me first authorising it? If this is a PayPal policy, then what is to prevent any company from making a claim against my account any number of times? There are many posts about this issue, and especially with ACTITECH, so I am not alone regarding this issue, and this has apparently happened to many PayPal customers.

I would like PayPal to refund the A$30.99 that was fraudulently taken from my account.

Then you would need to contact the merchant to see if they will refund your previous subscription because if it was on the subscription list then you did authorise it and paypal paid it for you.
