Hello everyone, I recently asked one of my friend to send money to someone on paypal for good and services. He did so, and i received what i wanted. Unfortunately, after a month he opened a dispute without telling me. Seller informed me. But i do not have any dispute. What should i do? Please help. Regards.

Hello @Welovegod33

Welcome to the PayPal Community!

I understand your friend made a purchase on your behalf and has since opened a dispute on the transaction. If the transaction never took place on your PayPal account, you would not see the record of it. It would only show on your friend's account and the seller's. I recommend contacting your friend and reminding them that you indeed received the item in question and that it's not a valid dispute. They might have accidentally opened their dispute on the wrong transaction or forgot what that transaction was for.

If you're still chatting with the seller, please make sure to let them know what happened. If they have any questions on how to proceed with their side of the dispute, they can reach out to Customer Support by selecting 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal page. However, our Help Center also has quite a bit of information they might find useful. Here are a few articles I recommend they check out first:

What is the PayPal Seller Protection Policy and what items aren’t covered?
PayPal's Seller Protection Program
How do I respond to a PayPal buyer dispute?
How do I prove that I've sent an item to the buyer?

I hope this helps!
