This was what PayPal put on my account We're permanently limiting your account. You can no longer use PayPal as we've decided to permanently limit your account after a review. I was ask to send proof of ssn and my SSN card was at home while I was at home on getting home to send the proof I saw this on my account

Unfortunately, this is all part of the dirty little game that PayPal plays and it is highly unlikely that you will get a just outcome. I would advise filing complaints with the BBB and CFPB. It probably won't help (I just realized a few minutes ago that PayPal lied to the CFPB, claiming that I send them false identification documents), but it is the only way you're going to get any kind of response.

Hello @Ruben001 and @LastLurker,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I'm sorry to hear of the permanent limitation. I can certainly understand how frustrating something like this can be. Usually, details about a permanent limitation are sent via email or can be seen in the Resolution Center, but these decisions are not something made lightly. Typically if an account has been permanently limited, then some part of our user agreement has been broken and involves multiple factors, some of which may not be readily apparent to you and there may be a possibility of error. If you believe that there was a mistake, you can contact Customer Service and request a second look at the basis for the limitation decision and review if there is anything that was missed. If there is a mistake found, it can be corrected. If the decision is upheld, however, there would be no further avenue for appeal, as a permanent limitation is final.

Regards,

Ayesha
