PayPal's Buyer Protection Program is useless and a scam.

I bought a pair of shoes from StockX which is new and nothing about mentioning the defects.

My case got closed as PayPal doesn't consider it to be significantly not as described.

According to PayPal's Buyer Protection program

"An item will not be considered Significantly Not as Described if: The defect in the item was correctly described by the seller in its description of the item."

BUT the seller did not mention about defects in their description but the item came with defects on the shoelace and glues on the sole. There was nothing about that on their description but still I got my claim refused. Is there anyway to communicate directly with PayPal agents? or video call? so that I can show them the defects. I only know how to contact PayPal through creating dispute but my case got closed and couldn't find any emails or other.

I had a similar Problem. I bought a bag, advertised as 100% genuine leather. It arrived, a cheap plastic piece of rubbish, stamped 100% leather. Seller claims it is leather but I can return it for 12€ fee. While in dispute about this, PayPal closed the case as I hadn’t sent the item back. My bank’s protection covered me but now PayPal have debited my PayPal account. Obviously I will never use PayPal again, I thought the whole point was that you were protected from online scams.

Actually I sent photos to customer service but still got the same answer. They just classify scams as customer dissatisfaction
