PayPal security bypassed by Facebook

I just made a second purchased on FB Marketplaces in a few months and I was not asked to enter a password or verify myself with a text message which every other site including PayPal has to do. This is an egregious error on someone's part and needs immediate correction to ensure my confidence with PayPal handling my personal financial information. LOL seriously I had to pass captcha to post here but Facebook can just charge my account. I have no confidence in Facebook security that I would never give them my payment information.

PayPal pairs your account to device/browser now so you can stay logged in and “skip typing your password during certain activities such as checkout”. So it’s by design.
You may have received an email when you’ve logged on a few times called “Stay logged in on this trusted device” or “We made it easier for you to check out with PayPal” which explained the above. There’s a link in the email to turn it off. Once you do, you have to do a quick security check step every time you log on.
You can also go into security settings to “Manage your logins” to delete login to a browser or device. It is also not to be confused with the One Touch or Auto login setting.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
